Music in google… What the?
Firstly apologies to everyone intending to find actual music related content while searching the net for music and reaching Music’s Place as you will not find much about music here (Was counting on the sister to reveal some of her limewire, itunes and other music escapades alas her posts are few and far between).
This post is nothing more then a test on what placing a few words within the content of a page has on google search results. The reason the experimental desire was aroused in the first place was the unexpected result of typing ‘one princeza’ in google search after the page was indexed. You may want to play with keywords yourself (i.e. if the process works) to help place your site in a decent position within a google search for a word such as music or music’s place. You may ask why bother with such a concept? Well unlike self there are many people who blog seriously and others including businesses who will greatly enhance their presence by entering a few well constructed words within their pages. Say you were a music store selling violins or you offered free music downloads then you need to let them google spiders know what your site is offering… don’t you.Strange the pages that pop up when typing certain keywords in attempting to locate a snippet of info from the web.Now Music’s Place is a diverse range of miscellaneous ramblings with not much on music whatsoever and for some bizarre reason has an average page rank (watch me jinx the site now). It will be interesting what effect mentioning the word music here in Music’s Place has on the overall google ranking for that keyword as the area is quite a popular avenue. We’ll see.
